Root, Seed, Grow, and Canopy: which plan fits
Root is for clients who already have a tool we built and just want it kept running, month to month. The plans differ in how much hands-on time you get, how many tools we maintain, how often we meet, and how quickly we respond:
- Root ($900/month): Clients with a tool Phyllogic built who want it kept running. Includes up to 2 hands-on hours a month; 1 covered tool maintained.
- Seed ($2,000/month): Teams under 25 with 1 to 2 AI tools. Includes up to 8 hands-on hours a month; 1 covered tool maintained; strategy sessions (monthly, 30 min).
- Grow ($3,500/month): Teams of 25 to 100 actively expanding AI use. Includes up to 20 hands-on hours a month; up to 3 covered tools maintained; strategy sessions (monthly, 60 min).
- Canopy ($6,500/month): Teams of 100+ or businesses where AI is central to operations. Includes up to 40 hands-on hours a month; all Phyllogic-built tools maintained; strategy sessions (every two weeks plus quarterly leadership roadmap review).
Grow adds quarterly live team training, and Canopy adds a quarterly leadership roadmap review, training that can be on-site in Northeast Ohio, a new-hire AI onboarding module, and a dedicated Slack or Microsoft Teams channel. The plan cards on this page list every feature.
What the monthly AI support plans include
Hands-on hours. This is time our team spends working on your account each month. You can use them for any mix of:
- Answering your team's "how do I…" questions about tools we built
- Improving existing tools (add a field to a report, change who gets an alert, adjust an AI prompt when your process changes)
- Building new small automations
- Researching and testing new AI tools for your business
Hours are tracked in 15-minute increments, and you get a monthly hours log. We notify you at 80% of your hours, and we never bill extra hours without your written approval. Unused hours do not roll over.
Maintenance that doesn't use your hours. This covers keeping covered tools running: monitoring for failures, fixing anything that breaks (including when a connected app like QuickBooks or HubSpot changes), updating to newer AI models, a quarterly access and security review, and keeping user guides current. If a covered tool breaks, fixing it is on us.
Strategy sessions. Each one is a video call with your Phyllogic lead to review what's working, set priorities, and pick the next opportunities. You get an agenda before and written notes after. Sessions do not use your hours.
Reporting. Root includes a quarterly usage summary, Seed includes a quarterly usage summary, Grow includes a monthly ROI report, and Canopy includes a live ROI dashboard. The ROI report includes everything in the usage summary, plus estimated hours saved and their dollar value, based on labor rates you provide. Response time. This means how quickly a person replies to your request during business hours (Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Eastern, excluding holidays). This is time to first reply, not time to finish. "A tool is down" requests go to the front of the line on every plan. Time to first reply is 2 business days on Root, 2 business days on Seed, 1 business day on Grow, and same business day on Canopy.
Plan terms, onboarding, and annual savings

- Upgrade anytime; downgrade at renewal.
- On annual prepay, for example, Seed works out to $1,800 a month.
- Seed, Grow, and Canopy have a one-time $1,000 onboarding fee that covers getting started: we set up access and accounts, inventory and document your current tools, set baseline metrics for ROI reporting, and set up your communication channel. It's waived if you completed a Team AI Training, Quick Win Build, or Custom Build with us in the last 90 days. Root has no onboarding fee.
Some things sit outside every plan, so there are no surprises later:
- General IT help desk (passwords, laptops, printers, email setup, networks)
- Fixing software we didn't build or configure, unless agreed in writing
- Software subscriptions, AI platform licenses, and API usage (passed through at cost, no markup)
- Large data cleanup or data migration projects
- Legal, compliance, or HR policy advice
- After-hours or weekend support
Builds larger than a plan's hours can cover are quoted separately as a custom AI automation project.
Start a plan directly, or begin with an assessment
If you already know what you want built or supported, you can start a plan right away. If you're not sure where AI fits yet, an AI readiness assessment is a quick, low-cost first step. 100% of the fee is credited toward a Quick Win Build, Custom Build, or your first plan month if you sign within 30 days. If you used a Quick Start credit toward the Assessment, only the amount you paid for the Assessment carries forward. Either way, a free discovery call is the easiest way to find the plan that fits your team.
